So long ago
When we first met
That flame in my heart
I'll never forget
Such beauty
Of which I've never seen
Is this love
Or is this a dream
Never
Has anyone before
Found the key to my heart
And opened the door
Imprisoning
My inner self
For so long
I've lived in this hell
For so long
I never knew
I could fall deeply in love
And be totally consumed
From inside the heart
Lies a raging fire
An ever lasting love
Such desire
I sit here and wait
As the clock's hands turn
A new day begins
And my heart still burns

You are the candle
That holds up the flame
From deep within my heart
From whence true love came

And the flame still burns

Well I was like I haven't wrote many romance poems in a while so yeah. A new chance hopefully you can enjoy this one. I actually liked it a little. A real mixture of thought. i don't know why but romance poems seem to just come out easier than most others. Unless you're just in the mood. Then it comes out just fine. Well I hope you can enjoy this poem. :thanks:
(Please don't refer this so much to me, when I write I usually try to grasp another person's perspective, or think of a certain situation and write about it, that how I think/write when it comes to such poems about love, there are still os many more perspectives/situation for me to find and write about, thank you)

wow... i love this poem... i really do its so beautiful ryan!... as much as id love to think this was written for my emotions cuz it described it so perfectly lol i know its probly nothing to do with me... its really awesome though this is defintely a major fav... its lovely
